About the project

We provide supported housing to 11 adults with mental health needs. Our flats are self-contained 1-bedroom flats in the London Road area of Brighton.

Our aim is to support individuals so that they can move on to living more independently. We are unable to provide permanent accommodation.

How can I get a place here?

All referrals are made through the Mental Health Accommodation Pathway commissioned by Brighton and Hove City Council. Their brokerage team can only accept referrals made via a Lead Practitioner / Mental health team, and we are unable to accept self-referrals. If you require support from a mental health team, please liaise with your GP.

Support

We offer personalised 1-2-1 support from a keyworker who will be able to provide support covering a range of different needs, using a model of trauma informed care and working within a psychological informed framework. For example, we help with money and income, tenancy skills, work and learning, social inclusion, mental and physical health. We use a dynamic approach to support residents and aim to empower residents to achieve their goals, promote independence and improve their wellbeing. We work closely with support agencies across the city, this partnership work maximises support and opportunities for residents. We are staffed 24/7 for emergency support and our core hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
