Comedy Fundraiser for YMCA Brighton – RAISING THE ROOF 2026
Komedia Comedy Club, Brighton – 19th October

RAISING THE ROOF brings together some of the sharpest, funniest comics to support YMCA Brighton’s vital work providing safe accommodation, support and real pathways to independence for adults across the city.
And the line‑up is an absolute treat for comedy fans:
Joe Wilkinson – the king of beautifully left-field, deadpan humour.
Angela Barnes – brilliantly self‑aware, warm and consistently hilarious.
Dinesh Nathan – award-winning, razor‑sharp observer with perfect timing
James Ellis – effortless ability to turn everyday moments into huge laughs with killer timing.
Hosted by Rich Wilson – he commands the night with the authority of a man who’s seen every kind of crowd and made all of them laugh. He keeps the chaos in check and the energy sky‑high.
It’s going to be a brilliant night of comedy, all while helping change lives in Brighton & Hove.
