Since 1870, YMCA Brighton has been a pillar of support in our community providing essential support services in Brighton and Hove. Our new strategy reflects our commitment to evolving with the times, ensuring we can continue providing essential housing and support services to adults facing multiple disadvantages.
Despite challenges like rising homelessness with a shocking increase of 120% of people sleeping rough on our streets since 2010, we’re determined to make a difference.
Outlining our collective commitment to fulfilling our mission of providing homes, communities, and services, this new strategy outlines how we will undergo the necessary changes that will empower individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. Our strategy focuses on our services, our resources, our partnerships to extend our reach and deliver vital support, and most importantly our people: those who live with us and those who work for us.
