Last month, we got the opportunity to present at Brighton Soup our wonderful ‘Community Creation’ Garden Project at Fred Emery Court.
The garden, as designed by staff and residents together, is set out to encourage connection and allows residents to get involved with gardening. The “sun-soaked serenity space” offers a “zen” area for residents to unwind to the sounds of nature and music, to practice yoga, and run a weekly gardening group.
The event went really well, and whilst we did not win, we received a huge amount of support for our project, and the two clients who attended got a lot from preparing for and attending the event which is fantastic.
Congratulations to Mr Venus at NoAgEnDeR for the winning pitch!
